FATHERS CAN BE KINGS
For all who receive God’s wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through the one man Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 NLT
Fathers are by grace given the opportunity to lead in such a way as to bring healing therapy to their households. They were made for such a role. It is possible for every born again father to gain the victory over the evil forces that threaten ruin to his family.
Moses was a father over a huge family. He is remembered as a leader who “served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house.” (Hebrews 3:2 NLT) The Greek word therapon is used here to describe his servant leadership. This is the origin of our modern term therapist. It originally meant one who serves and cares in a way to promote healing and wholeness. Moses brought wholeness to the house of Israel.
We who are fathers were born to reign in life through the power of Christ. That is, we are to be kings and priests leading our families in a wonderful, victorious rulership.
It does not just happen. A man must take his role and defend his domain. He is destined by the Lord to gain control over sin and opposition forces both within and without his family.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit to teach fathers how to follow the guidelines of the Word to lead a wholesome, victorious family.
You can be a king, Dad!
