VICTORIOUS KINGDOM PRINCIPLES WORK EVEN IN THE CHAOS OF THE PLAGUE! ASK ELIJAH.

The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. 1 Kings 17:6 NIV

It is like living in the days of Elijah, King Ahab and Jezebel! So how do we live in the chaos of stupidity? The liberal blue state governors and mayors autocratically mandate nursing homes must take in Covid 19 patients! Now statistics show that blue states high death counts are around 75% from nursing homes. While they have locked down churches, marijuana stores are open. This plague of stupidity is across the board: governors, mayors, and judges vie for who can do the dumbest things. For everyone’s security, they say. Total control! “Professing themselves to be wise, they become fools.” Romans 1:22 NIV

Thank God that against this background some wonderful local and national leaders stand out. We must pray for them—daily! But how do we survive amidst the chaos?

First, realize that the Lord takes care of His own. In this time of shaking and judgment, His Kingdom principles still work. This current tough transition leads to better times for the Kingdom of God. This judgment will benefit the Kingdom.

Consider Elijah. He is living proof of this truth. He lived and prophesied when the real Jezebel was in total control of the government. God led Elijah to a hidden ravine on the brook Cherith. There he was sustained by ravens while secreted away from Jezebel. Read his epic story in 1 Kings 17.

I’m not sure this plague of fools will soon go away. I believe God is angry with the wicked every day. (Psalm 7:11) I also believe we are in the last of the last days! The spirit of Antichrist dominates half of our nation. Yet I still believe that grace does all the more abound. The Church is already beginning to be more fruitful. And divine provision is always linked to effective fruit bearing ministry. We have seen this to be true. We have already experienced the ravens bringing us God’s provision. God has supply that we have never imagined or seen. Remember Philippians 4:19 NLT, “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
