Report from Honduras Mission Trip

HONDURAS ORA!

Victory in the Name of Jesus!

Mountain Creek Missions partnered with Light of Life International for a week of ministry in the Honduran Capital of Tegucigalpa from July 16 – July 22, 2018.   In all 250 missionaries from 6 states ministered the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every sector of the city. Daily distribution of food, basic staples, stuffed animals and ice cream were lavished on the city in Orphanages, Hospitals, Schools and throughout the Colonia’s of the capital. We worked alongside the local churches to meet the peoples physical needs while presenting the Love of God in Song, Drama , testimonies and preaching. We were blessed to hand out Bibles, The Book of Hope and other bible literature for the children.  During the period of Distribution alone over 8,200 declarations of Salvation were recorded.

On Friday July 20th, our distribution team went to Fundacion Abrigo (Shelter Foundation). The Foundation is next to a National Hospital  and provides housing and food for the families from outside the city.  Our team was able to minister to about 80 people, and I gave my testimony as the sermon, which is titled the “Man in the Mirror”. The people were very attentive and one young man in a wheel chair from a motor cycle accident gave his life to the Lord! Hallelujah! Then we served them all lunch and assisted the staff in all the cleanup, washing the dishes… etc.  To the Foundation we gave all the remainder of our food bags to help them continue on in their blessing of the people.

In the evenings we would minister in the local churches and encourage the Body of Christ. It is always a special honor to bless the people of God and inspire them to carry on the outreach to their city, people and nation.

The last two nights we had our two Crusades in the National Futbol Stadium.  Over 31,000 people attended the Saturday night LOLI Crusade preached by Evangelist Stephen Evans. Included were over 250 police academy cadets each night and many churches from several nations and from all across the nation of Honduras.  Teams came from Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and the United States. They gathered on the Friday night Crusade specifically to pray for Revival in the nation of Honduras. Many of the church/national teams literally prayed all night in the stadium. What a beautiful display of Unity in the Body of Christ.

“But seek you first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt: 6:33

This unity was only surpassed by the special invitation we and the LOLI teams had been extended by the President of Honduras. The word says, “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Prov. 14:34   The President of Honduras, the First Lady and the Secretary of  State all welcomed us and gave their vision of their beloved nation of Honduras under Christ! The LOLI leadership was even allowed to personally pray for the Military and Generals of Honduras. Glory to God for such Righteousness!  In all Honduras will not be the same after this divinely appointed week. Her people are blessed, have righteous leadership and are seeking God.  “But seek you first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt: 6:33

Mountain Creek Missions has now joined the Light of Life International organization in spreading the Gospel in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica. Plan on joining us next year as we go to Paraguay.

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher.  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings and good things!”   Romans 10:14-15
